Can Vettel Take Pole in Austria?

This weekend Formula One is in Spielberg, Austria and we're already set for what seems to be an intense race and qualifying session. The track here is far shorter than most tracks on the calendar this year so the gap between teams is less. Could Ferrari or Williams take advantage of this and snatch pole from Mercedes?

Vettel seems to be the favourite after the Free Practice 3 session ended as he topped the board for the second time in the weekend. In dry conditions he was 0.017s faster than Hamilton; a very small gap indeed but first is first! Let's hope, for the sake of Vettel, that the track dries before Q3 starts to give him the best chance of pole (unless he is even faster in the rain!)

Williams also seem very competitive here and tell us that they think they will be battling with Ferrari which should put them in a strong chance of getting pole as they did so last year. Felipe Massa says that Ferrari have been better than Williams in the previous races of the season but they look to change that today.

Let's not doubt Raikkonen for pole either. Vettel may have out-qualified Kimi at all weekends this season bar one, but Kimi looks strong here too. If he can find the 0.183s that Vettel has on him currently, he has a good shout for pole position this afternoon.

We're certainly set for an interesting qualifying session this afternoon. We will find out if teams lose or gain time in wet conditions and we could have 6 drivers within a very close range for taking pole position. I think Vettel can take pole today, what do you think?
